Website wants and needs for the real estate consumer
Most consumers expect and want certain features from a real estate website. The agent or company would like something in return for providing the information. Usually the consumer has specific informational goals in mind when they go to a real estate website. The want to be able to do a property search without the hassle of being plagued with phone calls or emails. They want to do their own research in the privacy of their surroundings. This can be from a variety of places since WIFI allows wireless connections to access the web.
They are usually doing their searches from home and sometimes work. Friends search together and evaluate properties too. Some of the other features are information in structure. They consumers are trying to become informed. The real estate agent or real estate company try to offer what they think are key pieces of information to help the consumer make a more informed decision. During the process the agent or real estate company is also hoping the consumer selects them, because of their expertise and knowledge, to represent them in their real estate transaction. This is a free enterprise system and the consumer still makes the selection.
Agents and real estate companies try to impact the selection process with "how to" outlines that offer all kinds of methods to rate, interview and finally select the right agent for the consumers need.
